Fabulous limited edition color lithograph by Joan Miro (Spanish, 1893-1983) titled Femme au miroir (from Derriere le miroir series), originally created in 1956.
Full sheet printed to the edges. Signed in print lower left corner. Most likely published by Mourlot.
Condition of this print looks overall very good: colors are rich and appear to be in their original unfaded state. Crease down center is consistent with the original condition of other Mourlot prints of this same image. Print is laid down to matte backing, front window matte is not glued down. Matte has age related toning and some edge wear. No frame available.
This is a gorgeous color lithograph by one of the great masters of 20th century Modernism, showing the boldly colorful, curvilinear abstract composition that is so classic to Miro's most beloved work. This will make a fine addition to any art collection.
